CM accords warm welcome to PM Modi at airport
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday morning reached Jagdalpur headquarters of tribal-populated Bastar Division of Chhattisgarh, where he was accorded warm affectionate welcome by Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh. After a brief stay at airport, Prime Minister left for village Jangla (Bijapur district) of Bastar division via helicopter with Chief Minister. After they reached Jangla, Prime Minister inaugurated health and wellness centre. At Jagdalpur airport, the state government’s higher education and revenue minister and in-charge of Bastar district Premprakash Pandey, Member of Rajya Sabha Ramvichar Netam, MLA of Jagdalpur Santosh Bafna, district panchayat president Jabita Mandawi, Mayor Jagdalpur Municipal Corporation Jatin Jaiswal, chairman forest development corporation Shrinivas Rao Maddi, chairman youth commission Kamalchand Bhanjdev, chairman of civil supply corporation Lata Ussendi, speaker municipal corporation Sheshnarayan Tiwari, state government’s chief secretary Ajay Singh, director general of Police AN Upadhyay, commissioner Bastar division Dilip Vasnikar, collector Dhananjay Dewangan, superintendent of police D Shravan and other senior officials also welcomed Prime Minister.
