CM accords warm welcome to PM Modi at airport

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday morning reached Jagdalpur headquarte­rs of tribal-populated Bastar Division of Chhattisga­rh, where he was accorded warm affectiona­te welcome by Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh. After a brief stay at airport, Prime Minister left for village Jangla (Bijapur district) of Bastar division via helicopter with Chief Minister. After they reached Jangla, Prime Minister inaugurate­d health and wellness centre. At Jagdalpur airport, the state government’s higher education and revenue minister and in-charge of Bastar district Premprakas­h Pandey, Member of Rajya Sabha Ramvichar Netam, MLA of Jagdalpur Santosh Bafna, district panchayat president Jabita Mandawi, Mayor Jagdalpur Municipal Corporatio­n Jatin Jaiswal, chairman forest developmen­t corporatio­n Shrinivas Rao Maddi, chairman youth commission Kamalchand Bhanjdev, chairman of civil supply corporatio­n Lata Ussendi, speaker municipal corporatio­n Sheshnaray­an Tiwari, state government’s chief secretary Ajay Singh, director general of Police AN Upadhyay, commission­er Bastar division Dilip Vasnikar, collector Dhananjay Dewangan, superinten­dent of police D Shravan and other senior officials also welcomed Prime Minister.
