Baba Saheb showed weaker sections the way to move ahead with self-respect: Singh
Chhattisgarh, Chief Minister, Raman Singh paid courteous tribute to Bharat Ratna and Chief Architect of Indian Constitution Baba Saheb Dr Bheemrao Ambedkar on his 127th birth anniversary by garlanding his statue at Ghadi Chowk of capital city Raipur. On the occasion, Chief Minister said that Baba Saheb showed the way to move ahead with self-respect to weaker section of society. He envisioned such an ideal society, where there is no discrimination of caste or status and everyone gets equal opportunities. He envisioned our society as progressive. Chief Minister said that Baba Saheb empowered weaker sections with fundamental rights through Constitution and showed them the way to live and grow with self-respect. State assembly speaker Gaurishankar Agrawal presided over the programme organised by Dr Bheemrao Ambedkar Sarvajanik Samaroh Samiti.
