Midsummer night dream

-

Congress-JD(S) successfully and deftly handled the abstract situation with clear perception in moving the SC in a 'tearing hurry for a mid-night hearing' that 'set the tone for course correction' of the 'Honourable Governor's Order' in slashing the time-frame for proving the majority from a whopping 15 days to 24 hours that 'truly and virtually dashed' the chances and hopes of the BJP which is said to have explored 'every possibility' to either lure the JD(S) and Congress MLAs to defect or read between the lines in the Law Books to engineer a sufficient number to abstain from the Assembly in order to somehow 'Squeeze in'. Every citizen by now has come to know rather well that the Hon'ble PM and Amit Shah have been playing dirty politics and remote-controlling the 'despicable operations' with scant respect for righteousness, laws that govern the country or ethical values. The Congress kept its vigil so 'air-tight' that the PM and Amit Shah could not pluck even one MLA from either

the Congress or the JD(S) and with the whole of the country watching the 'brazen and highly objectionable activities overtly done' by the BJP factotums using PM's name at the drop of the hat had no other alternative than to inevitably give up running amok. 'BSY had to quit' as he conceded that he did not have the required numbers to prove the majority and dare not face the 'floor test'. Needless to say, BJP never had it from the beginning but the PM who deployed himself for unduly long period over election campaigning in a single State, as he is by now habituated, did not want to 'spare any effort or the slightest possibility' to form a Govt., but he was left to witness that all his 'diligence' were exercises in futility. Congress ensured that the BJP led by the PM was cruelly exposed and brushed aside and could not bunch an inch. 'Midsummer night' of 16th May 2018 was something a 'dream' coming true for the Congress. There are laws that govern the country which cannot put up to the whims of a few. — T M Uday Shankar
