CRPF signs MoU with IRCTC

The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) signed MoU with the IRCTC on railway reserved e-ticketing system thereby bringing a major relief to over three lakh of its personnel. The MoU was signed by Rajeev Rai Bhatnagar, DG, CRPF and M P Mall, CMD, IRCTC in the CRPF headquarters in New Delhi. Speaking on the occasion, Bhatngar said that the new system of eticketing fulfils a long standing demand of the jawans/personnel of the Force who often faced a lot of problems in ensuring railway reservation, especially during long distance travel and travel at short notice. Describing the MoU as a big step, the Director General said that it not only caters to the travel needs of the force as an organisation, but also represents a major welfare measure for the Force personnel.
