BURGLARS who broke into the London home of Gennadi Kurkul in the wee hours of the morning were in for a nasty surprise. As soon as they prised open the door, Kurkul’s pet green lory Kuzya greeted them with a piercing screech that could be heard streets away. All the burglars could snatch before fleeing was a wallet.
