WR to run spl trains from Mumbai Central, Bandra Terminus and Ahmedabad for Ganpati festival

MUMBAI: In order to clear the extra rush during the festival, the Western Railway will operate three Special Trains on Special Fare between Mumbai and Mangaluru Junction in coordination with Western, Konkan and Southern Railways during the Ganesh Chaturthi. A release from Konkan Railway Corporation here said that Train No 09001 Mumbai CentralMangaluru Jn. will leave Mumbai Central at 11.50 pm on September 12 and 19 (Wednesdays) to reach Mangaluru Jn. at 7.30 pm the next day. Train No 09002 Mangaluru Jn.-Mumbai Central will leave Mangaluru Jn. at 11.10 pm on September 13 and 20 (Thursdays) to reach Mumbai Central at 7 pm the next day.

The train comprises 15 LHB coaches, two 2 Tier AC, eight 3 Tier AC, two sleeper, one pantry and two generator-cum-SLR coaches.

Bandra-Mangaluru

Train No 09009 Bandra (T)Mangaluru Jn. will leave Bandra (T) at 11.55 pm on September 11 and 18 (Tuesdays) to reach Mangaluru Jn. at 7.30 pm the next day. Train No 09010 Mangaluru Jn.Bandra (T) will leave Mangaluru Jn. at 11.10 pm on September 12 and 19 to reach Bandra (T) at 6.45 pm the next day. The train comprises 20 LHB coaches in all, one 2 Tier AC, three 3 Tier AC, 10 sleeper, three general, one pantry car and two generator-cum-SLR coaches. AC Special

Train No 09011 Bandra (T)Mangaluru Jn. AC will leave Bandra (T) at 11.55 pm on September 9, 16 and 23 (Sundays) to reach Mangaluru Jn. at 7.30 pm the next day. Train No 09012 Mangaluru Jn.-Bandra (T) AC will leave Mangaluru Jn. at 11.10 pm on September 10, 17 and 24 (Sundays) to reach Bandra (T) at 6.45 pm the next day. It comprises 18 coaches in all, four 2 Tier AC, eight 3 Tier AC, four AC Chair Cars and two generator-cum-SLR coaches.

Halts

All the three services will halt at at Borivali, Vasai Road, Panvel, Roha, Mangaon, Veer, Khed, Chiplun, Sangameshwar Road, Ratnagiri, Kankavali, Kudal, Sawantwadi Road, Madure, Thivim, Madgaon Jn., Karwar, Kumta, Bhatkal, Mookambika Road Byndoor, Kundapur, Udupi, Mulki and Suratkal.
