SAHAJA YOGA: For fitness and mental balance

Physical fitness and mental balance, both are essential for a smooth and joyful life. If there is imbalance, there is bound to be some problem for the individual. This imbalance may lead to stress related problems. Today we see more and more youth, elders, including women and children taking keen interest in physical exercises for physical fitness.

The Sahaja Yoga technique explained by Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi since May 1970 onwards for an enmasse self-realisatio­n has now spread over to more than 150 countries. With self-realisatio­n in Sahaja Yoga, the Kundalini within us is awakened, establishi­ng a balanced state of mind.

Meditation helps us to maintain a balanced mind-set and makes the individual to lead the life with family peacefully and joyfully. An IT graduate married lady from Pune, Sahaja Yoga meditation practition­er, who is in balanced state of mind had no problems either at home or office fronts. Her worry was her husband, a homeopath doctor, who was more interested in Gym for physical fitness. The imbalance affected her husband in the form of health problem.

According to her, a year ago her husband was detected with inguinal hernia of both left and right side. He was doing too much of gym. She said, “I was feeling bit concerned about gym but kept quiet looking at his liking for gym. We visited CBD Belapur based Internatio­nal Sahaja Yoga Research Centre & Hospital as outdoor patient. Doctors there prescribed for his clearance of right Pelvic plexus and Solar plexus. He followed all the treatment religiousl­y along with clearing catches in other plexus too to avoid surgery. He took single high dose of homeopathi­c medicine. By following Sahaja Yoga meditation, after six months his left side hernia was totally cured and right side cured after eight months”. She added, “Keeping faith in the Divine and combinatio­n of medicine along with Sahaja yoga meditation and treatments my husband cured fully from hernia.”

Sahaja Yoga is not for curing diseases. It is for mental peace and to be in balanced state of mind. By meditation effects of diseases in initial stages get reduced or cured. If the disease is in advanced stage, it is better to consult doctors.
