Rakhee, the celebrity artist

Rakhee’s paintings are unique in their style of execution as they represent more of architectural work on canvas, her collection ranging over 26 years. Apart from specialising in oil painting on canvas, Rakhee has constantly had the urge to use various media and multiple subjects. Her works also include different media like water-colours, pastels, acrylics, charcoal, croquil and ink colours, mixed media, etc. Rakhee Shah has donated paintings to 116 hospitals and cancer centres globally and has donated 605 paintings around the world. Recently, Rakhee donated paintings to Tata Memorial hospital, Lilavati Hospital, Breach Candy Hospital, Jaslok Hospital, Hinduja Hospital, Global Hospitals, SRCC Children’s Hospital, to name a few in Mumbai. Rakhee has also donated her paintings globally to various countries and cities like UK, USA, Canada, Chicago, Belgium, New Zealand, France, etc. Through her paintings, Rakhee wants to reach out to the people and wants to help them for various causes which she has been engaged in for over two decades. In 2016, Rakhee was invited by the Consulate of Luxembourg for an event and met up with the Deputy Prime Minister of Luxembourg and the Ambassador of Luxembourg in March 2016. Rakhee participated for St. Gemma’s Hospice art exhibition cum auction in 2014, which the participation of celebrities such as Sir Ian McKellen, British Prime Minister – David Cameron, Sir Ben Kingsley, actors, actresses, singers and many more also participated for this auction.
