According to police sources, a minor boy was reported missing from his residence in Kajupada area of Saki Naka on Thursday morning at 11 am, when Khan allegedly kidnapped the boy while playing. After an hour of searching when the parents could not find their son, they were panicked.

Acting on the complaint, the police traced the number’s current location and apprehended the accused. Khan was hiding the boy in a house two lanes away from the Shaikh residence in Kajupada. The case was detected within 6 hours and the accused was arrested. Navinchandra Reddy, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Zone 10) said, “The accused was nabbed within hours of committing the crime and the minor boy has been rescued. The police will be recording the statement of the minor after he comes out of the trauma.”
