A tribute to Mahatma Gandhi with ‘Khaadi’ makeover

On account of Gandhi Jayanti, fashion designing students from Panacea Institute of Fashion Technology have paid tribute to the national hero Mahatma Gandhi and designed ‘Khaadi’ in a modern way. They showcased 20 outfits with Khaadi the Textile Heritage and put forth their creativity and presented skilfully designed outfits on the platform of Zen Asia foundation. PIFT was privileged to have the senior ace fashion designer, Kanwaljeet Singh.

There is hardly anybody in the fashion industry who works upon selflessly to connect together, people of similar interests and deeds. Chatursing­h Khalsa has been proving this since eight years.

PIFT is specialise­d in contempora­ry training for Indian and internatio­nal fashion designing. It was founded in 2009 by creative director Bhavna Dhruv. Since then their aim is to provide each student with profession­al attraction that will enable them to enter the fashion industry.

PIFT is located at a fantastic prime location ‘Andheri’ to the west of the city which connects majority of main suburbs. PIFT has collaborat­ed with recognised and corporate bodies for the finest commitment of quality addition to ensure that their graduates are career ready and have enough skills required to meet the industry standards. Their approach to addition is developed in tie-ups with fashion industry profession­als, so the studies are practical, hands-on-hand and ensure graduates highly in demand.
