Not Pawar, nor Parth, I will contest LS polls: Sule
The Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) Member of Parliament, Supriya Sule, on Monday said, she alone would contest the Lok Sabha (LS) elections. Neither her father, Sharad Pawar, nor her nephew Parth will contest, Sule said. Echoing her father and NCP president Sharad Pawar's sentiment, she said, “What will be the future of the party workers if all the seats are taken by the Pawar family members?" She categorically affirmed, "Only one person from the Pawar family will contest and that will be me.”
“Every person and every constituency is important for our party. It is nice people want to contest elections,” Sule. She spoke of the various aspirants for party tickets and said, she had no information on Udayanraje Bhosale's candidature being changed.
“I have no information on any other person replacing Bhosale,” asserted Sule.
She said the first phase involved obtaining feedback from the party workers. “We will asses their mood and feedback before

She has been getting feedback from across the state and said, the party brass were assessing the mood with information being received from every constituency. Speaking of Ajit Pawar's son, Parth, who according to some reports, wanted to contest from Maval, Sule put all rumours to rest. “The party had a meeting for discussions on the Maval seat and Parth did not express any desire to contest. However, we cannot foretell the future,” she said.
