Modi would have got best actor award in Bollywood: Hardik Patel

-

Terming Prime Minister Narendra Modi as a good actor, Patidar leader Hardik Patel on Sunday said Modi would have received the best actor award, had he been in the Bollywood.

Hardik Patel, along with Jignesh Mevani, a legislator from Gujarat, and Kanhaiya Kumar, youth leader from Jawaharlal Nehru University, took part in the United Youth Front’s march called ‘Save The Constitution’ in the city. Nearly 500 people joined the march, which commenced from Dadar’s Hindu Colony and culminated at Chaityabhoomi. The march was backed by political parties like Congress, Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) and others. The protesters raised anti-Modi government slogans and said the government is against the Constitution.

Patel further said, “If PM calls himself a chowkidar of the nation, then how come big frauds happened and fraudsters fled the country? Chowkidar’s work is to guard and not to sleep.”

Kanhaiya Kumar said, “A rally of this kind was needed because the Modi government is acting against many institutions like Reserve Bank of India (RBI) and the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).” He questioned PM Modi over Rafale deal.

Dalit leader Mevani reminded the BJP government that the Constitution is supreme in this country. “There is a threat to our Constitution from the government, which has decided to support the teachings of manuscripts. But people present at the rally here believe the Constitution is supreme. The people of this country will save the Constitution,” said Mevani.
