Modi: Always in work mode, not taken one holiday
It has been all work and no play for our ‘pradhan sevak’ since May 2014.
He has been in a work, work, work and more work mode for the last four years, slogging with bulletnosed zeal and never taking a day off.
That is what he told the public while addressing a rally in Bhilwara, Rajasthan, on the eve of his departure for Argentina to attend the G20 summit from November 30 to December 1.
“Did you ever hear that I took a holiday? Did you ever hear I went somewhere for leisure or was missing for a week? I give an account of each and every decision I take and the work that I do,” PM Modi said.
However, he was at pains to point out that this was not the case with leaders from other parties, who often disappeared for as long as a week and actually took holidays.
Without so much as a by your leave, this tweet did the rounds on Twitter: Modi: Did you ever hear that I took a holiday?
Yes, when you go on Election Rallies.
Modi: Did you ever hear I went somewhere for leisure?
