Nationalism
A person who considers the indigenous educational system, the best and adopts the national language in his social interactions and conduct; is a true nationalist.
He, indeed, is a nationalist, who loves the native educational system, culture, values, yoga, religion, darsana (the science of philosophy) and adhyatma (spirituality).
The one who follows the rules with regards to control the population rate and to make the country healthy, clean, prosperous and cultured and who is committed to make the country free from hunger, poverty, unemployment and participates in the campaign of encouraging people cast their 100% votes during polls to eradicate the menace of corrupt and destructive politics, is a true nationalist. The one who is dedicated to the growth and research in indigenous medical therapies such as Yoga, Ayurveda, Reiki, Unani, Marma therapy, homeopathy etc., is a nationalist.
Bravery
He is considered a brave person who does not waste even a single moment to take decisions in the national interest and is not scared of anyone in implementing them; is industrious, constantly lives the values of action, hardwork, daring, gallantry, and selfrespect, without getting entangled in superstitions; one who implements the schemes of national welfare with alacrity and authenticity; one who is determined to take rest only after having achieved success in his sacred undertakings, even in the face of stiff oppositions, obstructions and criticisms, he, indeed, is turely a courageous person; one who does not leave any work that can be accomplished today for tomorrow, is brave; one who stops not, tires not, is given to constant work and considers a mere change in the job as relaxation; one who swears by the principles of work-ethics and looks upon inaction and lethargy as an asuric (demonic) trait, is truely a nationalist.

‘He is a thief, who does not work.’
Kurvanneveha karmani jijivisecchatam samah. Evam tvayi nanyathetosti na karma lipyate nare.
(Yajurveda-40.2)
Meaning: Aspire to live for a hundred years continuously working hard. This is the only and the greatest way of life. To work is our religion. Action is the ultimate truth of the world and life. This entire creation is the result of actions.
Karmanyevadhikaraste ma phale-su kadacana
(S.B.G,2.47)
Meaning: Work without the desires for results. Results are inevitable. Worship God through your actions.
Transparency
A person whose life is pure, impeccable and taintless, who proves his excellence in upholding personal, familial, professional and social propriety and is not given to double standards, is conscious of every moment to lead an irreproachable life; alone can be called to be transparent.
Foresight
One who rises above the urges and narrow-mindedness related to district, province, religion, racism and languages, and respects everyone, talks about the development of one's own territory and respects all the Indian languages, as well as other religions too, but considers national welfare as greatest is a man blessed with foresight. A person who spreads hatred and repulsion amongst people by whipping up the passions for sects, territories, and languages and sets the nation on fire by indulging in wicked politics just to fulfill his selfish ends can never be called far sighted. We must rise above our selfishness and stop petty politics and become far sighted, so that, the future generations are proud of us and remember us as their ideal and a national personality.
Humanism
Before being a Hindu, a Muslim, a Sikh, a Christian, a Buddhist or a Jain remember that we are human beings first. No matter, by which name we address Him, the Supreme Lord, our father, is one. God has sent us into this world in a human form. Hence, our first duty is to serve Lord Narayana in the form of fellow human-beings. This, indeed, is human-religion. The seeds of love, compassion, affection, truth and non-violence abide in every heart. To ensure that our ethics and conduct do not pose any danger to humanity, is humanism.
He who believes in the loftiest human values and opinions is called a humanist.
Spirituality
One who considers the universal, scientific values, ideals and traditions as religion, but not a blind follower of religion is spiritual, who percieves the embodied form of God, in the existence of all inert and sentient living beings, is anxious to dedicate his entire life to serve the living and the world by alleviating their sorrows and miseries, spiritual. He, indeed, is a spiritualist, who having risen above all sorts of pettiness, compassion, love has for the whole mankind, and considers the entire world as his own family. (Vasudhaiva kutumbakam-Panchtantra-5.38) Spiritualism and nationalism are not mutually contradictory thoughts. Both thoughts are equally necessary for every country and its citizens to lead an independent and secure life. We are citizens of a country according to its system and it is our national and moral responsibility to safeguard the freedom, unity, indivisibility and sovereignty of our country. At the same time from the perspective of universal brotherhood, world peace and social harmony, we all are the progeny of a single God. So, as the children of a single God, and His system of justice, we all are sisters-brothers. This is our understanding of spiritual philosophy and spiritualism.
Humility
Despite having achieved the pinnacle of power, wealth, prosperity, grandeur and knowledge, to serves others with humility and believe that this life and the entire cosmos is the creation of God, is humility. He never has an ego for his work, status, position, power and wealth, who considers the unmanifest God to be the organiser and master of this man of this manifest world and feels that he is merely an instrument of God.
