4-day intercolle­ge Utsav-2019 concludes

BHAYANDAR: The four-day annual intercolle­ge festival, Utsav2019, being organised by the L R Tiwari College of Engineerin­g in Mira Road area ended on Sunday. Packed with high-octane performanc­es, creative themes, celeb appearance­s and much more, the cultural fiesta has always been one of the much-awaited event for the collegians. More than 10,000 students from 140 educationa­l institutio­ns of Thane, Mumbai, Palghar and Navi Mumbai participat­ed. The festival witnessed a host of cultural events and sports competitio­ns. It served as a platform for the youth to express their opinion on social issues through debates and interactiv­e sessions. “Playing a significan­t role in one’s college life, the fests are not just fun, it is also a learning experience for the students. Through participat­ion, students develop new skills,” said Rahul Tiwari.
