All households will have electricity by next month: Piyush Goyal

Piyush Goyal, Minister of Finance, Corporate Affairs, Railways & Coal, Government of India, speaking at the Interim Budget 2019 interaction said that all households will have electricity by next month. This was in line with the objective of the Government to provide all facilities to all villages including 100 per cent sanitation coverage, fuel to all households, digital technology, education and healthcare for all, said Goyal. The Finance Minister thanked taxpayers and acknowledged their contribution which has helped in carrying out a foundational change in the country. Speaking on support to farmers, he asserted that farmers have provided the nation with food security.
