WHAT: National Centre for the Performing

Arts (NCPA) invites you to celebrate edition III of The NCPA International Jazz

Festival exclusively curated by the NCPA. The much-awaited three-day festival will be held on 11th, 12th & 13th October 2019. The festival will feature a stellar line up consisting of International artists from across the globe.

The opening night of the International Jazz festival will begin with the Dal Segño Trio featuring LaToya Smith followed by Downbeat Magazine’s rising star, Camille Thurman with the Darrell Green Trio. On Saturday, 12th October, the Mandy Gaines Quartet will perform jazz classics from The Great American Songbook followed by Round Midnight Orchestra, one of Europe’s leading jazz ensembles. Audiences will experience the exciting nightlife of renowned New York Jazz Clubs and Broadway during the golden era of jazz. NCPA International Jazz Festival finale on Sunday, 13th October will conclude with the Yuval Cohen Sextet and the Mingus Dynasty Quintet. Yuval is a leading figure of Israeli Jazz and a part of the critically acclaimed band ‘The 3 Cohens Sextet’. Mingus Dynasty Quintet will make their debut in India showcasing the rich musical legacy of jazz icon, Charles Mingus. The band comprises of musicians who have performed with Grammy-Award Winning legends like Eric Clapton.
