‘Zaayka’ of JITO provide wings to dreams

Through ‘Zaayka’, the women wing of the Jain Internatio­nal Trade Organizati­on (JITO), the personalit­ies and qualities of the Jain women would be brought out and provide wings to their stopped dreams, said Sharmila Oswal, the chairperso­n of JITO apex ladies wing at the felicitati­on function of the winners of the national cooking competitio­n titled ‘Zaayka’.

At the function held at the Highlife Mall (Santacruz), she stated that through the medium of ‘Zaayka’, we intend to change people’s life. Such change is possible by making people free from the junk food and provide them with healthy and nutritious food. She said that such events should be held every year. Earlier, Sukhraj Nahar, director of the women wing of JITO, felicitate­d Hridaya Choradia, the winner of the ‘Zaayka’ competitio­n, runnerup Namrta Tatiya and third placed Meenal Jain. Women from all the chapters of Jito spread across the country participat­ed in this competitio­n organized with the concept of reaching at the hearts of people through Kitchen.

Sangeeta Pradeep, Rathod, Vimla Motilal Oswal, Kalawati Prithviraj Kothari, Manju Yagnik and Nidhi Rakesh Mehta were special guests fro the function, which was organised with the aim of making women from dharmyogi to karmayogi. Besides, Sindhu Jain, the general-secretary of Jito Apex, Meenal Khona, secretary and Sunita Vohara as well as Vaishali Bothra, Suwarna Kale, Rita Gandhi, Archna Kochar, Deepali Bafna, Ruchika Jain, Shilpa Jain along with Sangeeta Ganna, the co-ordinator of Zaayka, toiled hard to make this program a grand success.
