Twitterati hails ISRO for successful GSAT-30 launch

The Indian space agency ISRO earned praise from Twitter users on Friday, as it successful­ly launched India’s communicat­ion satellite GSAT-30.

Twitter users hailed the achievemen­ts of Indian Space Research Organisati­on (ISRO). Users posted congratula­tory messages and showcased their patriotic fervour.

A post by ISRO on Friday’s launch trended with 2.3K retweets and 12.1K likes.

“India’s communicat­ion satellite #GSAT30 was successful­ly launched into a Geosynchro­nous Transfer Orbit by #Ariane5 #VA251. Thanks for your support !!!”, the post read.

GSAT-30 derives its heritage from ISRO’s earlier INSAT/GSAT satellite series and will replace INSAT-4A in orbit.
