As per the circular, shops or commercial establishments will be imposed Rs 10,000 for the first violation of COVID norms. If the second violation is found, the premises will be closed for 7 days. And, if the third violation is found, the premises will be closed till the pandemic ends.
Similarly, malls will be fined Rs 50,000 for the first violation of COVID appropriate behaviour. And, for the second violation, the civic body can seal it for seven days or closed it till the pandemic ends for the third violation.
