ASHOK GEHLOT IN HOSPITAL, SACHIN TOUR CREATES BUZZ

Even as Rajasthan CM, Ashok Gehlot is in the hospital recovering from post-Covid infections, the political scene in Rajasthan is getting hotter as a geared up Sachin Pilot has being extensively touring the state. Pilot was in Gehlot’s home town in Jodhpur while he was travelling to Barmer to pay condolence to his close associate Hemaram Choudhry’s brother. He had gone there by road. Though Gehlot supporters were not seen, Pilot received a grand welcome. Then, he went to Alwar and Dausa to attend religious events and good gatherings were seen in both the districts. Pilot is now slated to go to Ganganagar, Hanumangarh and other districts in the coming months.

The same is happening in BJP where former CM Vasundhara Raje was recently in the flood-hit areas of the Kota division and her constituency. As per reports, she is planning to go to Ajmer and Udaipur to pay condolence to the families of party leaders and workers.

More and more Congress leaders at the grassroots level are now coming out against Sidhu, terming his remarks as “irrational”.

Senior congress leader and veteran trade unionist M.M. Singh Cheema termed Sidhu’s remarks as highly irresponsible and lacking maturity. “From the day Sidhu was nominated as Congress president, he is in the news for every wrong reason and nothing constructive has been heard from his side in strengthening the party except tweets here and there and few personal visits to selective Congress leaders and appointing personal advisers,” he said.
