DGCA issues notices to SpiceJet, training org CSTPL

Indian aviation regulator DGCA has issued show-cause notices to SpiceJet and training organisati­on CSTPL for not imparting proper training to 90 pilots on the 737 Max simulator, officials said on Thursday.

Earlier this week, the Directorat­e General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) barred 90 SpiceJet pilots from operating Boeing 737 Max aircraft after finding them not properly trained.

The officials said the stick shaker -- an equipment that vibrates when the aircraft is unable to lift itself -- was not functionin­g in the Max simulator of CAE Simulation Training Pvt Ltd (CSTPL) when the aforementi­oned pilots were getting trained.

BHOPAL: Madhya Pradesh CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Thursday warned that his government will not spare anyone found indulging in riots and also justified the demolition of 'illegal structures' belonging to those allegedly involved in the recent violence in Khargone.

"Houses of persons from SC community were set ablaze. Why shouldn't action be taken?" Chouhan asked while addressing a meeting in Mhow town where he paid tributes to Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar on his 131st birth anniversar­y. Ambedkar was born in Mhow.

Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh. “Who gave you the right? Even the Chief Minister and Prime Minister do not have the right to demolish someone's house without any investigat­ion. There will be many innocents in them too,” said Gehlot in a function of Ambedkar Jayanti on Thursday.

Gehlot said, “This right is with the law only. The law should take its own course and one should work according to that only. If there is no rule of law, then everyone will have to suffer one day or the other,’ said Gehlot.
