TRUMP BAN REVERSAL

Tesla Chief Executive Elon Musk said on Tuesday he would reverse Twitter's ban on former US President Donald Trump. The decision to ban Trump from Twitter did not silence the former president's voice, but rather amplified his views among people on the political right, Musk said, calling the ban "morally wrong and flat-out stupid." Trump was permanentl­y suspended from Twitter shortly after the January 6 riot on the U.S. Capitol.

SINGAPORE BANS ‘K’ FILES T

he Kashmir Files, a controvers­ial film on the exodus of Hindus from the Kashmir Valley in the 1990s, has been banned by Singapore, which has cited concerns over its "potential to cause enmity between different communitie­s". The film has been assessed to be "beyond" Singapore's film classifica­tion guidelines, news agency PTI has reported. "The film will be refused classifica­tion for its provocativ­e and one-sided portrayal of Muslims and the depictions of Hindus being persecuted in the ongoing conflict in Kashmir," the Singapore government said in a statement on Monday.
