Federal probe agencies on Saturday questioned Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Pratap Yadav and his parliamentarian sister Misa Bharti in the railways land-for-jobs scam case in New Delhi, officials said.

While Tejashwi was questioned by the Central Bureau of Investigation for more than eight hours, the Enforcement Directorate questioned Bharti for more than six hours, they said.

Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra slammed the BJP over the RJD leaders's questioning and alleged that the ruling party wants to finish the opposition and democracy. She expressed solidarity with them and said, “We are all united against the attack on democracy.”

She tweeted, “The BJP wants to finish off the opposition and democracy from this country. That is why it is continuously attacking

the voice of the people in the opposition.”

The ED grilled Bharti in the railways land-for-jobs linked money laundering case in Delhi, officials said.

The Rajya Sabha member reached the ED office in central Delhi at 11am and exited at 7pm. She took an over an hour long lunch break. She refused to comment about the questioning she told reporters there that the proceedings were “confidential”.

Understandably, the investigating officer recorded her statement under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA).
