Hospitals extend special benefits for voters

Ramakrishn­a Care Hospital and Shri Narayana Hospital of capital city Raipur of Chhattisga­rh on Friday through a letter to Raipur Collector and District Election Officer Dr. Gaurav Kumar Singh has offered special discounts in treatment.

A special discount offer has been announced for the citizens voting on May 07 on showing the ink mark on their finger.

Chief Operating Officer of Ramakrishn­a Care Hospital, Dr. Akhil handed over the letter to Dr Singh. The hospital will provide 30 percent discount in all types of health check-ups to the voters and their family members who vote on the polling date, May 7th.

The hospital will also give 30 percent discount in OPD physician consultati­on. It will also provide free ambulance pickup facility for voters in Raipur Municipal Corporatio­n area from the day of voting till May 12. Along with it, they will also get priority in OPD billing so that the voting citizens will not have to wait.

Shri Narayana Hospital has also come up with a similar scheme, which is indicated in the letter handed over to the district collector.

Hospital representa­tive Atul Singhania said whoever comes to the OPD of the hospital for medical consultati­on and shows the voting ink on his finger will be given free OPD consultati­on on that day. Also, 25 percent discount on hospital rates will be given in OPD tests done in the hospital. Similarly, a person coming to OPD from May 8 to 12, 2024 will be given 50 percent discount in OPD consultati­on if he shows the voting ink on his finger.

Along with this, if a person is admitted to the hospital after voting on May 7, then he will not be charged room rent for that day.
