WHAT’S IT: The Lexus version of the Toyota Vellfire; probably the most unique luxury vehicle for sale in India.

WHAT’S NEW: A lot. There is a choice of seven-seat VIP or the four-seat Ultra Luxury trim, including a 48-inch ultra-wide screen, infrared matrix sensor air-conditioni­ng, long-sliding seats, frequency-sensitive damping.

PRICE: Rs 2 crore (VIP), Rs 2.5 crore (Ultra Luxury), both ex-showroom.

POWERTRAIN(S): 2.5-litre, in-line four, petrol, 134-kW electric motor, 250 hp, 325 Nm (estimated), electronic­ally controlled continuous­ly variable transmissi­on, front-wheel drive.

Hyundai Venue Turbo Executive

WHAT’S IT: The new entry model to the Venue

Turbo line.

WHAT’S NEW: The six-speed manual transmissi­on paired to the 1.0 TGDI engine, plus a special no-frills equipment selection that does away with the smart key, rear camera, dash cam, and LED light elements, while employing halogen headlights and 16-inch styled wheels, with 8.0-inch touchscree­n infotainme­nt, and wireless smartphone connectivi­ty.

PRICE: Rs 10 lakh (ex-showroom)

POWERTRAIN(S): 1.0-litre, in-line three, turbo-petrol, 120 hp, 172 Nm, six-speed manual transmissi­on, frontwheel drive.

Toyota Urban Cruiser Taisor

WHAT’S IT: The Toyota version of the Maruti Suzuki Fronx.

WHAT’S NEW: The badging, front grille, LED lighting elements, wheel design, and the orange paint shade.

PRICE: Rs 7.74 lakh to 9.53 lakh (1.2)/Rs 8.72 lakh (1.2 CNG)/Rs 10.56 lakh to 13.04 lakh (1.0 Turbo), all ex-showroom.

POWERTRAIN(S): 1.2-litre, in-line four, petrol or CNG, 90 hp (77.5 hp for CNG), 114 Nm (98.5 Nm for CNG), five-speed manual/ automated (only for petrol) transmissi­on, front-wheel drive/1.0litre, in-line three, turbo-petrol, 100 hp, 148 Nm, five-speed manual/sixspeed automatic transmissi­on, front-wheel drive.

Škoda Superb

WHAT’S IT: Škoda’s flagship saloon available as a fully imported unit that is limited to just 100 cars and offered only with the 2.0 TSI EVO

DSG powertrain in top-spec Laurin & Klement (L&K) trim.

WHAT’S NEW: The Superb gets refreshed kit including the 9.2-inch touchscree­n, wireless charging, 12-way powered front seats with memory and massage functions, three-zone climate control, 11-speaker Canton audio, 10.23-inch Virtual Cockpit, 360° camera, drowsiness detection, autonomous braking, park assist and nine airbags.

PRICE: Rs 54 lakh (ex-showroom).
