This International Museum Day on May 18, explore the ‘Outside In: Meera Mukherjee and Jaidev Baghel’ exhibition at Museum of Art and Photography with a guided live sketching session.
Led by artist and entrepreneur Smitha Shivaswamy, co-founder of Penciljam, the event oers two one-hour sessions — one at11 am and another at 4pm. Whether you are a seasoned sketcher or just starting out, this is the perfect opportunity to hone your skills, unleash your creativity, and connect with a community of likeminded artists.
The event aligns with the theme of International Museum Day — Museums for Education and Research — by fostering engagement with various audiences. All materials will be provided, but feel free to bring your own pencils and sketchbook for a more personalised experience.
Penciljam co-founder Smitha brings nearly two decades of experience in design to the table. She is passionate about promoting ‘Citizen Art’ and currently develops visual thinking training for corporations.
This is a chance to learn from an expert, capture the essence of the exhibit through your artistic lens, and create memories at the museum.
