Dhas’ fivefor powers Nelson to massive win
Right arm mediumpacer W. Antony Dhas’ five for 46 helped Nelson CC bowl out AGORC for 258 in its second innings and win by an innings and 74 runs on final day of the seventh round match in the TNCA first division league at Wahe Guru ‘A’ ground here on Tuesday.
Alwarpet CC drew with Young Stars CC, thanks to T.D. Lokesh Raj’s maiden fivewicket haul which helped the former bowl out Young Stars for 351 in its first innings and gain a huge first innings lead at SRMC.
R. Sathish (124 retd. hurt, 174b, 15x4, 1x6) powered Jolly Rovers to reach 390 for nine in its first innings with a lead of 166 runs.
In its reply in the second innings, India Pistons was shot out for just 174, thanks to D.T. Chandrasekar’s four for 63. Needing just nine runs for a victory, Jolly Rovers won by 10 wickets.
