Showcasing India’s ardent design potential on a global platform, Heimtextil and Ambiente 2016 played host to exclusive brand names, refined artistry and inimitable talent

-

The three day celebration of home and interior decor trends at Heimtextil and Ambiente 2016 turned out to be a great success. Bridging the gap between consumers, business visitors and sellers, the well-timed opening of the event during the Indian buying season and on the day India’s cabinet approved a package of measures to boost the textiles sector led to intense business discussions and an optimistic outlook among the fraternity. From 2016 Autumn-Winter collection by Raymonds to a first-of-its-kind memory fibre for soft feel products by Reliance to advanced digital textile printers by Colorjet, Heimtextil India raised the curtains on the very latest in home furnishings and textiles. Next door, Ambiente India saw the launch of the brand Triston Home by Zakaria Shahid Industries, Nilkamal’s new outdoor collection and the abstract wall decor collection by Vedas. From the biggest brands like Ceramic Tableware, Kai Corporation to start-ups like iShippo.com, Living

with Elan, Devnow etc., Ambiente India played host to the most creative homeware and interior decor segments, attracting buyers from across the country. Heimtextil India and Ambiente India joined hands with the Hospitality Purchase Manager’s Forum (HPMF) whose members visited the show over the three days. The event warmly welcomed and provided a huge platform to differentlyabled artisans trained through Messe Frankfurt’s training program to showcase their skills and have a face to face interaction with the visitors, buyers and VIPs. “Each brand showcased in the exhibition is totally different from each other. Our essential pointers for the show are the emphasis on the hospitality section. It would be a perfect move, as the industry is growing in upper as well as upper middle markets. Secondly, I feel ILA is going in the right direction as far as quality is concerned. The Interior Lifestyle Awards proved to be a great motivational activity for existing and budding designers,” shares Nicolette Naumann, Vice President, Ambiente.
