The entrance foyer located at the north-east leads into the central courtyard that opens out to all the other spaces. Large openings and the courtyard create an airy environment with ample natural light and good ventilation. This space not only works as an area for outdoor entertainment, but also aids cross interaction between family members on different floors. Another high point in the design is the skylight with a pergola. The intricate jaali and the metal outdoor seating along with a traditional custommade swing, work as ethnic elements that bind the design. Sunlight seeps through this jaali,

creating a play of light and shadow. Ahead is the stairway that is peppered with vibrant custom-made metal lamps that make for an ambience that is a class apart. Further more, all the bedrooms are designed in accordance with the preference of the occupants. “Overall a neutral colour palette is seen throughout the home. Mirror finished green kota and river finished multicoloured kota is used for the flooring, while bright walls and furnishing add playfulness. The combination of these elements basically creates an ideal balance of modernity and tradition,” concludes Dipen Gada, Founder & Principle Designer.
