Editor’s Note
Sustainability has become a more frequent term and goal in recent years. The word is used everywhere, from sustainably grown produce available at supermarkets to sustainably built communities that have less of an impact on the environment. Exactly a year ago, I had requested our readers to think about this serious issue of climate change to keep the world safe.
For me, change does not come through wishful thinking. My personal advice is to discover ways, be proactive, foresee risks and take action ( large or small) before the situation spirals out of control. It’s the start of the new year and we know what that means. Let’s set some realistic actions instead of making ambitious resolutions that you know you’ll never keep. And hey, do that on time!
Talking about the Design and Trend Special issue, the team has tried touching all aspects of trends which are going to be a big hit in 2017! My colleague Delilah’s feature on Global Trends ( Pg 54) will surely be a makeover bible for your space. If you are looking for essentials to achieve the ideal bedroom design, try our tips and tricks ( Pg 60) for creating a bedroom that’s truly a relaxing retreat. Winter is approaching faster than you can say brrr... so, plan a holiday ( Pg 116) that will include playing in the snow, hiking and getting cosy by the fireplace.
And, praise the season with comfort, good food and warmth of the sun. We will see each other soon in a glittering and romantic month with special gifting ideas and much more!
Stay blessed.
