CAPE COD BEACH HOUSE,
MASSACHUSETTS, USA
Located at the far end of the geographically exquisite Provincetown, on a dune facing a salt marsh and a mile-long stone breakwater, this 2,400 sqft beach house is designed by Hariri & Hariri Architecture headed by Iranian-born Cornell educated sisters Gisue Hariri and Mojgan Hariri. The two-storey structure with three bedrooms features a living, dining and kitchen area, a large terrace and covered balcony spaces. A one storey sculptural volume wrapped in wood and faceted like a piece of rock is something you will see first. Further, a glass-bridge structure connects the guest suite at the entrance to the master suite. One most important feature of the home is the master bathroom that is intimate, warm and almost resembles a Swedish sauna.
