The Ideal Home and Garden - - Craft Speak -

Born out of an ardent desire to contribute in a small way to preserve and promote the legacies of India, The India Craft House helps to create a larger canvas for the fading craft works. The brand associates with local artisans, NGOs or small organisations to curate a melange of products that are unique and exclusively handmade. “The production of these items goes through various processes right from sourcing the raw material to creating a semi-ready product and finally a finished article of art and beauty. This creative contribution kick starts a whole new process of thinking. This helps artisans develop fresh perspectives and helps stimulate new ideas,” shares Sona Puri, Director, The India Craft House. Their motto ‘Doing well by doing good’ emphasises on giving the artisans a sustainable livelihood, which will make it a worthwhile and lucrative proposition for the new generation artisans to learn the skill.
