Aterrace is a luxury which is often overlooked and under-utilised. A terrace garden is like a plain canvas, which can be turned into an eye-catching beauty. There are unlimited possibilities to explore the potential of a terrace garden to make it appealing as well as to enhance its functionality. However, in a country like India where summer is the predominant season, people often refrain from designing a terrace garden knowing that the heat can be a hindrance for people to spend some time on their terrace gardens. This is a myth long associated with terrace garden designing and terrace garden designers are arriving at different ways to combat this myth. There are several ways, which if incorporated can make your terrace summer friendly. very appeal of outdoor space, but also acts as a natural coolant. The tranquility of water has a soothing effect on our senses. One can go in for a waterfall with solid rockery in the background or a new vertical free-standing waterfall with a thin stream of flowing water. Going in for water cascades - series of flowing water - is another alternative of an outdoor waterfall.
A terrace pool often termed as plunge pool is another water feature, which would make your terrace inviting in the summers. Taking a lap in your terrace pool would be the ultimate luxury. One can also incorporate a lounge chair or a small outdoor sitting along the pool. A terrace pool attached with a steam and sauna room would be an appealing added advantage. If you have space crunch, then a terrace jacuzzi can also be installed, which serves a similar purpose.
