Stay in, stay safe!

COVID-19 is absolutely the biggest news story of our time and there is no denying it. The pandemic is affecting everything that we can think of - economy, health and our social lives. And our role as journalists is not only to bring you reliable & trustworth news but also to keep you occupied and engaged while you are stuck at homes, during these exceptionally challenging times.

I realised that working remotely was difficult for us, not because I missed my super-coordinated team (thanks to technology like zoom, we are well connected), but meeting deadlines and other approvals took a toll on us. Yes, we have decided to remove a few sections such as travel and spaces that features hotels and destinations at this time, and added more stories on decor ideas to keep you busy and stimulated during this home bound time. From adding pastels, to ways with terrazzo, and doing up your kids room; it should give you enough revamp and re-do ideas.

Finally I am cautiously optimistic that this hard time will pass soon, but in the meantime while we are in the midst of protecting our physical selves from this virus, let us also endevour to protect our mental health. So, my advice, try to take a day off from all work and enjoy some quality me-time. Call on old friends and say sorry for not being in touch. Relish good meals and sleep a lot. Immerse yourself in a book or get on that DIY project, that your office work has kept you away from. Or you can always, like our stylist Yukti Kasera, dance your heart out on your favourite numbers. Because it helps her stay sane!
