The Ideal Home and Garden

FROM THE EDITOR’S DESK

I will get straight to the point. Why do we avoid (ignore) doing up our kid’s room the way they want it? Kids usually have a specific vision of how they want to decorate their bedrooms and believe me, sometimes you’ll wish these spaces were your own. Not kidding! Dedicating this issue to decor therapy for little ones, we have some expert interior designers’ sharing their insights, to guide you through it. Rather than sticking to stereotypical ideas of your childhood and spaces for kids, these spaces shared in this issue offer multi-dimensional approaches to a child’s space. It’s hard to resist the allure of a full-blown makeover, especially when we have been spending so much time indoors. But for many of us (I am nervous wrt electrical work in my house), top-to-bottom upgrade isn’t an option. But upgrading our homes and making changes without giving up our homes for days, we can opt for small changes that make a big impact. And yes, we have planned this issue as a solution for just this woe! From adding the magic of pastels, to a new vase or a photoframe, colourful cushions, beautiful throws, animal-inspired decor to tabletop accessories, we have covered every small-change idea that will make a big impact on your space. We love homes! That is what we love the most. The three character-filled homes featured inside have one thing in common - perfect personalitydriven space for their residents. I am amazed to see how different they are from each other, yet have a feeling that is relaxed, opulent, and welcoming. On this note, I am leaving you here with ideas and inspirations to create a space you love!
