Hold SAARC meet without Pak, says Cong
New Delhi: A day after India announced that it will not take part in the SAARC summit in Islamabadinnovember,thecongresson Wednesday asked the Centre to explore the possibility of holding a SAARC summit without Pakistan.“shouldthegovernmentnot explore the possibility of actually having a SAARC summit minus Pakistan... Would that not make a better case for the isolation of Pakistan?” Congress leader Manish Tewari asked.
The Opposition party, meanwhile, continued its criticism of the NDA government’s response totheuriterrorattack.tewarisaid the Centre is “scrambling for a coherent response” even 10 days after the attack.
