MIRAGE IN INDIA

FRANCE HAS SOUGHT to set up a plant in India to manufacture Mirage fighter aircraft as well as missiles and civil aircraft, a threemember French aeronautics delegation visiting India said during a discussion with defence and civil aviation authorities. The proposed plant could initially assemble the aircraft and progressively manufacture the sophisticated parts to 100 per cent.
