EDMC seals unit for flouting NGT norms

New Delhi: East Delhi Municipal Corporation (EDMC) has sealed several industrial units in Mandolisaboli area for flouting NGT norms and causing pollution. As per the directions of the National Green Tribunal(ngt) action has been taken against nearly two dozen polluting units in under Shahdara (North) zone, said a senior EDMC official. The industrial units in Mandoli-saboli area, under Shahdara (North) zone, were served notices for causing pollution. PTI
