Probe SDMC chief’s conduct: Assembly panel

New Delhi: The Questions and Reference Committee of the Assembly Tuesday recommended that the Delhi government conduct an inquiry into charges of “indiscipline, dereliction of duty and causing deliberate delay in the execution of public works...” against SDMC Commissioner Puneet Goyal. The committee said Goyal had not implemented the decision of the Urban Development department, enhancing financial powers of commissioners to approve MLA LAD projects from Rs 25 lakh to Rs 5 crore citing “financial indiscipline”.
