AISA member alleges assault by ABVP leader

New Delhi: AISA member Pritish Menon alleged Monday that he was assaulted by ABVP leader Satendar Awana after a TV debate. “He first threatened me not to say anything against the ABVP. After the debate ended, I left the building. Awana abused me and punched me,” Menon, vice-president of the Delhi unit of AISA, said. Awana denied the allegations. “Why would I beat him up? I left in my car after the debate... Where is the proof?” he said. ENS
