J&K minister attacked

Srinagar: The cavalcade of Jammu and Kashmir minister Zahoor Ahmad Mir was attacked with stones near South Kashmir’s Ratnipora village where the minister had gone for a condolence meeting.

Locals said Mir, the Minister of State for Forests, Environment and Animal Husbandry, and his security guards were attacked when he was coming out of Ratnipora village, where he had gone to convey his condolences to PDP leader Showkat Gayoor, whose mother died a few days ago. A policeman was injured in the incident. ENS
