Gumtoo tattoos: Say no to needles

-

While getting inked has been the rage for quite a while now, not everyone has the heart to make a commitment to a tattoo they’d have to carry on them for a lifetime. Gumtoo provides a nice little hack around the pain, exclusively for people who want all the fun that comes with tattoos, and none of the commitment.

It is a Singapore- based temporary designer tattoo brand founded and managed by Pranjal Taneja, who set out to establish Gumtoo with the aim of changing the “scary and pricey” perceptions around designer products. The company works with more than 60 international designers, who create innovative designs to suit an occasion or a specific need. Their tattoos are made in the US with a strict adherence to FDA approved guidelines and come in a variety of design themes including pirates or superheroes, more delicate themes like princess tattoos in pink as well as cool space tattoos and nautical-themed tattoos.

The latest addition to their kitty is a range of metallic tattoos, which can be best viewed as a dress-up and party accessory. They come in decorative gold and silver designs stencilled as deli- cate bracelets and necklaces boast the visual appeal of a 24K-plated band. Just like old-school temporary tattoos, these are really easy to apply. You just need to remove the transparent lining and paste the tattoo facing down, and then use water to stick it on your skin. They remain in place for about a week, through which you can choose to flaunt your current design while you think of your next. They retail their tattoos in Singapore, Dubai and have recently entered India as well. Check out Gumtoo tattoos and order from their website, www.gumtoo.in.
