LONDON: BBC has signed a deal to adapt seven more works of the world renowned mystry author Agatha Christie. With The Witness for the Prosecution, starring Toby Jones and Andrea Riseborough, already in production, all seven adaptations will be delivered over the next four years. Among these are Ordeal by Innocence, to be adapted by Sarah Phelps, Death Comes As The End, set in ancient Egypt, and The ABC Murders, about a serial killer in 1930s Britain. Though names of other projects will be given out as the project moves on, the producers have praised Sarah Phelps for her insight and modern interpretation of the Agatha Christie’s world in 2015’s And Then There Were None.
