This enables voters to register his/her disapprova­l of all the candidates appearing on ballot paper. And if the percentage of NOTA is more than 30%, the election can be counterman­ded. If such a provision were to be introduced in the US, for this election more than 50% could vote NOTA. US citizens may not feel inspired or motivated to go and vote for either of the two candidates.
