5-yr-old fined for selling lemonade

LONDON: A 5-year-old girl selling lemonade to passersby was fined £150 for trading without a licence by the Tower Hamlets Council in London, reported The girl cried and told her dad, “I’ve done a bad thing.” However, the council has now cancelled the fine and apologised to the girl and her dad. A spokesperson for the council said: “We are very sorry that this has happened. We expect our enforcement officers to show common sense and to use their powers sensibly.”
