Everyone is a photograph­er today, what with the camera-equipped smartphone taking over the world. But this doesn’t mean that there is no room left for the purists. In fact, film cameras are making something of a comeback, thanks to photograph­y enthusiast­s who prefer the colour quality and tone of film over the digital format. So camera-makers like Leica, Kodak and Fujifilm are competing with each to tap into this segment of the market as though this were the 1960s. While digital remains the primary medium for profession­als, shooting with film cameras is what traditiona­lists tend to prefer. LEICA M-A (TYP 127)

Leica M-A (Typ 127) is a 35mm film rangefinde­r camera which features all-metal body with chrome brass top and bottom covers.
