Studded with international and National stars, Sushil Kumar officially signs as the first player for the third season of Pro Wrestling League. Joining the fray is Olympic gold medalist & World Champion Helen Maroulis from USA. Sakshi Malik and Bajrang Punia are other Indian players to watch out for.

India’s most accomplished medalist, Sushil Kumar added, “I am extremely gratified with my de- but in Pro Wrestling League Season (PWL) 3. Winner of two Olympic medals with an Indian record of becoming a World Champion in 2010 at Moscow, Sushil’s hall of fame counts an array of laurels at various international level championships. His recent Gold at National Championship in Indore after his Gold winning exploits at 2014 CWG edition thumps a grand be- ginning on PWL mats followed by his attempt for fifth Gold medal in Commonwealth Championship at South Africa this month.

On Sushil’s debut with PWL, Sh. Brijbhushan Sharan Singh, President, Wrestling Federation of India added, “Sushil has added a lot to the Wrestling hall of fame in the history of Indian Wrestling. His debut in PWL is a good sign that will inspire budding wrestlers”.

Speaking on the first PWL Season 3 sign up, Mr. Kartikeya Sharma, Founder & Promoter, ProSportify Pvt. Ltd., added, “Sushil Kumar is the role model for the young generation of Indian sportsmanship. As a senior most wrestler, he realizes his duty towards the game and the youth. His presence will enrich the team and players. We welcome this historic debut in Pro Wrestling League Season 3”.

PWL is undoubtedly the biggest wrestling platform in the world. Apart from being a combat sport, TV following is immense and will definitely help the sport of wrestling to reach newer shores. Sushil Kumar’s accolades as wrestler are second to none and he still remains the only individual double Olympic Medalist in the history of Indian sports.
