Gastronomic delights with perfect ambience

-

Sector 29 Leisure Valley, Gurugram Meal for two: Rs 1,500 Ministry of Beer (MOB) is the biggest microbrewery in Delhi-NCR which offers its patrons a pleasant time with fine food, drinks, ambience, and décor. The space is one of the biggest properties with beautiful outdoor space and indoor space. MOB also boasts about accommodating the biggest live stage and live kitchen in Delhi-NCR.

The ambience of the place is on point too. From dustbins, seating to door handles, everything has a factory-like feel to it. The well thought out seating arrangement that comes with multiple options like high chairs, comfy sofas, and coffee table chairs add to a comfortable experience.

I kicked off my meal with Mobbed Caesar salad that had chunks of Bocconcini chicken tikka. The salad was a combination of parmesan cheese, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, lettuce and lemon juice. The salad was sumptuous and juicy to the core. Next on my plate was Fresh farm corn on the cob, which was made from fresh farm grown corn and was served in four different flavours. Next came Murgh Rarah Nachos, which were Jalapeno nachos loaded with murgh rarah. Nachos were juicy and crunchy and went perfectly with the drinks.

The colourful and vibrant food presentation in the platter is a visual treat in itself at Ministry of Beer. Some of the not to miss dishes include Mobbed Insalata, Mobbed bun Tikki and Lamb pie which was served with activated charcoal mayo. MOB comes with the best of International Cuisines with a Culinary Twist.

Next on my table was Mushroom Bianco, Thyme pizza which was made with Bianco sauce, three layers of cheese and mushrooms. The pizza was as cheesy as it can get. Next, I had Asparagus and Broccoli steamed dimsums that were served in a bamboo box with a spicy sauce. Dimsums gave the perfect taste of juicy asparagus and broccoli and melted inside the mouth.

For the main course, I ordered Wok tossed noodles and Lemon garlic pepper chicken. Lemon garlic pepper chicken was served with potatoes and herb sauté vegetables with a right mixture of Chinese sauces.

I concluded my meal with MOB signature dessertGoldDust. The dessert comprised of 24-carat flourless chocolate cake, chilly ice cream, and nougat. The delicious combination melted in the mouth and gave a perfect taste of chocolate and vanilla.

Apart from the gastronomic delights, the event calendar at Ministry of Beer is trendy and exciting too. Right from live band to DJ setups to the performance by well-known singers, Sufi nights, theme parties and ladies night, MOB offers the happening events throughout the year. —Taru Bhatia
