-

Q. What is the most exciting thing about being part of the circus industry?

A. The most exciting part for me is when I see myself in front of the mirror as an artist who can perform in front of thousands of people in the audience and make them happy.

Q. What is that one skill that you would want to learn? A. I’ve been performing for the last 15 years, but still when people come to me and ask questions, I get confused. So, I have to learn the technique to connect with the audiences.

Q. Tell us about the major challenges that you face while preparing for a show.

A. My biggest challenge was to come back as an artist, because before joining Cirque du Soleil, I was off the stage for five years because of my left knee injury.

Q. What do you love the most about your city, Mumbai? A. One thing that makes Mumbai the best is its people. I can’t even think about leaving Mumbai.

Q. Tell us one thing from your bucket list.

A. I want to see Mallakhamb (aerial sport) in Olympic Games. I always dreamt of seeing Mallakhamb on that platform where different countries participate and perform the sport.

Q. What is that one advice you would like to give your younger self?

A. Believe in yourself and then pursue your dreams. Don’t let anyone or anything change that.

Q. If you could have one superpower what would it be? A. I want to fly and that is the reason I am practicing aerials. I want to master harnessing and flying.
